Potwin, Topeka KS

Potwin was originally developed in the 1880s by a group of businessmen looking to create a desirable residential area close to downtown Topeka. The neighborhood's name comes from one of its early residents, Thomas Potwin, who owned a large farm in the area. Today, Potwin is located just south of downtown Topeka and is bordered by 6th Avenue to the north, 10th Avenue to the south, Topeka Boulevard to the west, and Kansas Avenue to the east. Its central location makes it easy to access all that Topeka has to offer.
